Hutchison House a living history museum, owned and operated by The Peterborough Historical Society, depicts 19th century pioneer life in Ontario.

Peterborough Lift Lock Opened in 1904 and designated as a Canadian National Historic Site, this is the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world.

Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame. This is the shrine to all that is sports in and around Peterborough.

Riverview Park and Zoo wonderful zoo close to Trent University. Virtual tour is available of the various animals as well as the layout of the park. The zoo features 27 exhibits, with over 48 species, including Yak, Camel, Wallaby, Emu, Macaw, Squirrel Monkey, Cougar, Plated Lizard, Meerkat and more! The park covers 55.5 acres and is the largest and most diversified playground in the city. It also features equipment for physically-challenged children. With a splash pad, frisbee golf course, walking trails, a miniature train ride, and beautiful gardens the Riverview Park and Zoo has something for everyone.

February Folk Folly - Saturday Feb 27th 2016, various venues across Peterborough.

What is the February Folk Folly ?
Is a music crawl in beautiful downtown peterborough taking place at various downtown buisnesses where live music usually doesn't take place.

Hand of Man Art and Craft Sale is presented by the Peterborough Guild of Arts and Crafts (PGAC) and is the largest and longest running yearly art and craft sale in Peterborough. Held every last weekend in October at the Morrow Building, 155 Lansdowne St W. 40th Annual Friday October 30 to Sunday November 1 2015.

MUSE: International Film Festival. Presented by the Peterborough Museum & Archives and the Toronto International Film Festival Group, bringing Canadian and International Film to Peterborough since 1998. Screenings at Galaxy Cinema, Water Street, Peterborough.Occuring during January to April on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings. Rush tickets are always available at the MUSE Courtesy Desk in Galaxy Theatre, one half hour before each film begins. Cost: $15 (taxes included)
